What does the guided tour include?

During the nearly 1 kilometer-long walk along the path over Juvflye and the permafrost, the nature guide will discuss the climate, history, geology, and biology of the high mountains. What should I wear?

Dress warmly: wear winter boots or hiking boots, a hat and mittens, a warm jacket and pants (preferably windproof and waterproof), and woolen underwear.

How do I get to Klimapark 2469?

By car: Follow the signs to Juvasshytta from county road 55 (Sognefjellsvegen), 19 km west of Lom center.

It takes about 45 minutes to drive from Lom center to Juvasshytta. There is a paved toll road leading up to Juvasshytta. Please note that you cannot drive up with a towed caravan.

Tickets and Cancellations

What should I do if I can't make the trip?

Klimapark 2469 is an outdoor experience area, and the guided tours take place regardless of weather conditions.

To receive a full refund, you must cancel the tour at least three days (72 hours) before the start. If you do not cancel within this period, the tickets will not be refunded.

For groups visiting Klimapark 2469, cancellation is free up to 10 days before the meeting time/guided tour. If the group cancels the tour earlier than 5 days before the date of the guided tour, we will charge 15 percent of the ticket price. For cancellations later than 5 days before the guided tour, we will charge the full ticket price.
