Terms Of Service
The guided tour takes approximately 2 hours. The first kilometer follows a walkway, and the guide tells you about weather and climate, geology, wildlife, flora and history. At the end, you are taken into the ice tunnel, where you watch a movie before you can explore the ice by your own.
The tour is approximately a 2 kilometers roundtrip.
Meeting point:
The guided tour in Klimapark 2469 begins at the start of the installed pathway, just across the road from the Juvasshytta parking lot. The guide will meet you there.
The ice tunnel is only accessible with a guide.
Weather and clothes:
The weather in the high mountains can change rapidly, it can even snow in July. We encourage all our visitors to check the weather forecast in advance to ensure a safe trip. For example, you can search for “Juvasshytta” on www.yr.no.
It is important to dress warmly for a guided tour in Klimapark 2469. The temperature inside the ice tunnel is 26,6°F/-3°C. We recommend:
- a warm jacket and pants, preferably wind- and waterproof
- a beanie and mittens
- wool base layers
- footwear suitable for mountain hiking, such as winter shoes or hiking boots
Risks with Participation:
A guided tour in Klimapark 2469 is generally a low-threshold activity. However, we would like to make participants aware that they should stay on the installed walkway and follow the guide’s recommendations. The steep scree slopes in the area are unstable. Participation is at your own risk.
The organizer assumes no financial responsibility for any injury to persons or damage to equipment.
Travel:
The road up to Klimapark 2469 is private and owned by Juvasshytta. The road has a toll fee, and you can pay for your passing at the parking lot at Juvasshytta. The drive will take about 45 minutes from Lom center to Juvasshytta, and you will drive the highest situated road in Norway.
Cars with caravans are not allowed on the road, but campervans are allowed.

Cancellation and refund:
Klimapark 2469 is an outdoor experience approximately 1850 meters above sea level. Weather conditions will not be a reason for cancellation.
To receive a full refund, you must cancel the tour at least three days (72 hours) before the start. If you do not cancel within this period, the tickets will not be refunded.
Rebooking the tour is only possible if the rebooking guarantee has been purchased.
If you are booking tickets to a guided tour in Klimapark 2469 on behalf of others, you are responsible for passing on all revant information to the participants.
The ticket gives 30 % discount for the entrance ticket to the exhibitions at the Norwegian Mountain Center in Lom. Read more at norskfjellsenter.no.
